Euphorbia 'Ruby Glow' is a compact, shrubby succulent known for its rich burgundy foliage and architectural form. This striking plant adds dramatic colour contrast to garden beds, borders, and pots, with foliage that deepens in colour during the cooler months. It has a clumping habit and a low water requirement, making it ideal for modern, drought-tolerant gardens.
Flowers
Small, greenish-yellow flowers appear in spring and summer, nestled among the colourful foliage. While not showy, they add a subtle charm and are a nectar source for pollinators.
Foliage
The standout feature of 'Ruby Glow' is its deep burgundy to ruby-red foliage, particularly vibrant in autumn and winter. The narrow, pointed leaves are arranged neatly along upright stems, giving the plant a tidy, sculptural appearance.
Fruit
Inconspicuous. Occasionally produces small seed capsules, though these are rarely significant in ornamental settings.
Form and Size

Growing Conditions
Thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil. Highly drought-tolerant once established and suited to dry, coastal, and low-maintenance gardens. Protect from heavy frost and prolonged wet periods.
Uses
Perfect for rock gardens, succulent landscapes, borders, feature pots, or as low hedging. Great for adding bold foliage contrast and structure to mixed planting schemes.
Maintenance
Very low maintenance. Prune lightly to shape if needed. Take care when handling – Euphorbias produce a milky sap that can irritate skin and eyes. Wear gloves when pruning. Fertilise in spring with a slow-release fertiliser suitable for succulents.
Notes
Avoid planting in poorly drained or overly wet soils. Good airflow and dry conditions will help prevent rot. Can be propagated from cuttings.

Where are our plants Grown and how do we grow them
- Plants are grown locally on the Sunshine Coast
- All outdoor plants are sun hardened and ready to grow
- Indoor plants are grown under 50% Shade and will transfer perfectly to indoor use
- Orchids are also grown under 50% Shade and are best brought indoors during flowering for show then returned back into a shaded area until the following flowering time

How to Look after your plants like we do
- When using any Garden Care products or Fertilisers we always recommend reading the label before use
- We recommend using Earthlife crushed rock mineral on all plants when planting in the ground or in Pots.
- When planting in Pots in Our garden centre we use Rocky Point potting mixes to plant all our plants
- If planting in the ground we also recommend that you use Rocky Point garden soil around your plants at the time of planting
